Therapy for Anxiety and Depression

Clients begin feeling empowered and accepting of themselves, as they learn skills to address stress/anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I use a combination of acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and humanistic approaches to support clients in their journey towards a more fulfilling and balanced life. Therapy includes developing self-compassion, meaningful action, and mindful awareness. I also integrate somatic/physical practices to regulate emotions and increase awareness of what you need in the moment.

Therapy for the Overstretched and Overwhelmed

Stop the cycle of stress and burnout by making yourself a priority. Practicing self-compassion makes you a more loving and connected friend, partner, parent, community member, boss, and employee. I help overstretched & big-hearted people extend their compassion to themselves. Giving yourself what you need, in turn, helps give others what they need. You deserve to treat yourself with kindness. Become your truest self.

Adult ADHD Support

I offer skills-based support for adult ADHD. We work together on practical strategies to help with organization, focus, and confidence. Clients begin shifting unstructured days into a rhythm that works for them & daunting projects into doable steps. We also work together to address procrastination, overwhelm, and low self-esteem related to ADHD. Self-compassion, acknowledging personal strengths, and affirming neurodiversity is also an important part of our work together.

The research-based program I use was developed at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in collaboration with adults with ADHD. I flexibly integrate other approaches, with the understanding that the client is the expert in their own experience. My learning is ongoing and reflective.

I am a professional member of ADDA.

Emerging Adulthood and Quarter Life Crisis

You’re technically an “adult” but you really don’t know what you are doing. Things are confusing, and there’s no roadmap for where to go next or what to do. It can be overwhelming and lonely, at times. I love working with young adults to discover themselves and what is important to them. It’s an exciting time to define for yourself what you want your life to look like, what relationships you want to build, and what you want to leave behind. I also provide a safe space for young adults to explore different aspects of their identities.

Parenting Support

I provide support for the transition to parenthood and parents of young children. I have a specialty in postpartum anxiety and have completed trainings with the Pregnancy and Postpartum Health Alliance of Texas. As a certified Life with Baby provider, I also offer wellness planning sessions in preparation for the postpartum period. Additionally, I provide positive parenting support for parents of young children.
